How to Сreate an Acapella From a Song
Unaccompanied vocal tracks are sought after by singers, DJs, and other musicians for vocal and production practice as well as for the creation of their own mixes, edits, and bootlegs.
Making an acapella-only version out of a mixed track is a challenge. Off-center vocal panning, mixing and mastering peculiarities make it difficult to separate vocals from accompaniment. To simplify this task, LALAL.AI uses state-of-art AI technology allowing for clean-cut vocal isolation. Follow the steps below to create an acapella from any song you want.
- Open LALAL.AI in your browser.
- Click Select Files to upload your audio or video.
- Double click the song you want to upload.
- Wait a couple of seconds until the processing is complete.
- Listen to the stem previews. Click the crossed speaker sign to mute one or the other stem, then click (▶) for playback.
Tip: If you think that the previews sound overcompressed, or you hear the sounds of one stem leaking into another, try turning off the Enhanced Processing feature.
Click Back in the upper left corner of the window to return to the upload page. In the upload window, click the settings icon. Find Enhanced Processing in the drop-down menu and turn it off. Upload your track again.
- Click the Process the Entire File button.
- Click the download icon (⤓) within the Vocal [Full] section.
Your file will be downloaded in the format and quality of the song you uploaded. The download links to the extracted instrumental and vocal tracks will also be sent to your email.
