How to Reduce Background Noise in Video
Background noise ruins any recording. If you want to remove the annoying noise and other weird sounds from a video file, LALAL.AI Voice Cleaner is the best tool for the task. Follow the steps below to start the background noise removal.
- Open LALAL.AI Voice Cleaner.
- Click Select Files to upload your video file. The service supports AVI, MP4, and MKV formats.
- Wait a few seconds until the video is processed.
- Click (▶) next to the Voice preview. You will hear a portion of the voice or vocal sound separated from the background noise.
Tip: If you think that the preview sounds overcompressed, or you hear the sound of noise leaking into the voice track, try changing the Noise Canceling Level. This setting is located to the left of the previews.
In the Noise Canceling Level section, select one of the following levels:
- Mild to apply no additional compression.
- Normal to enable soft compression.
- Aggressive to add very aggressive compression.
After that, click the Create New Previews button. Adjust the Noise Canceling Level until you get the desired effect.
- (This step applies only to premium users) Select the output format. If you want to get the results in the same format as the file you uploaded, skip this step.
- Clean up the video in full. Below the preview section, select either Starter (Free) or one of the paid packs.
- Sign up and click the Split in Full button.
- Get your cleaned up file. It will be available in the same format as the original file, unless you performed the fifth step.
If you want to export the results in another format, click the arrow on the Split in Full button and pick a format from the drop-down list. Note that the output format can be changed only to one of the audio formats.
If you selected the Starter pack, you will be able to listen to the entire cleaned up file online.
If you’ve selected the Lite or Plus pack, you will be able to listen and download the full file. The download link is also going to be sent to the email you’ve signed up with.
