How does LALAL.AI Voice Cloner work?
LALAL.AI Voice Cloner creates a digital version of your voice from the voice samples you upload. Once your voice clone is ready, you can apply it to songs and speech recordings in LALAL.AI Voice Changer.
How many voice samples do I need to upload?
You can upload up to five voice recordings to create your voice clone. The more varied and clear the recordings, the better the quality of the final voice pack.
How long does it take to create a voice clone?
The processing time depends on the length and quality of your recordings, but typically, you can expect your voice clone to be ready within a few minutes after uploading.
What are the requirements for the voice recordings?
The higher the quality of your samples, the better the resulting voice model will be. Your voice recordings should be clear and free from background noise, music, or effects like echo and reverb. For more tips on recording quality, please refer to our voice sample guidelines.
What can I do with a cloned voice?

How do I apply my voice clone to a recording?

What is a Voice Pack Slot?
A Voice Pack Slot is a saved spot in your account for a cloned voice. You can place a trained voice into a slot to keep it in your library and use it in Voice Changer anytime. Slots can be replaced with a new voice whenever you like.
How many slots can I have?
If you’re cloning one voice for personal use, the Lite subscription with 1 slot is enough. If you work with multiple voices for different projects, characters, or styles, Pro gives you 3 slots to manage them separately.
Can I replace a voice in my slot?
Yes. You can train a new voice and swap it into any of your slots at any time, at no extra cost.
What happens to my slots if I cancel my subscription?
Your slots and the voices in them are retained for at least 60 days after cancellation. If you reactivate within that period, everything comes back exactly as you left it.
I own a Vox Lite/Max Voice Pack. What changes for me?
Nothing. Packs bought under the old one-time model are now called permanent packs in your account. They’re yours for good, and they don’t use up any slots. Slots from a Lite or Pro subscription are added on top of your permanent packs, not a replacement for them.
Is my data secure?
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data and handle uploaded recordings in accordance with our privacy and security practices. Your recordings are retained only for as long as necessary to create your voice clone and provide the service.
Are my uploaded voice recordings used to train AI?
No, voice recordings submitted for voice cloning are not used for further training of LALAL.AI’s voice cloning technology or for the development or improvement of our other AI products.
