Voice Pack Slots: A Better Way to Own Your Cloned Voices

When we launched Voice Cloner, the model was simple: train a voice, buy it, use it forever. That worked but it also created friction. Experimenting with a new voice meant committing upfront, and swapping to a better clone meant paying again. You ended up either overspending on voices you no longer used or holding back on training new ones.

Voice Pack Slots are our answer to that. Instead of buying individual packs, your subscription now includes a set of slots—reserved spaces in your account where you can store, swap, and manage your trained voices freely.

How Voice Pack Slots Work

Think of a slot as a permanent home for a Voice Pack in your account. You train a voice, listen to the preview, and place it in a slot. It's then ready to use across Voice Changer anytime. If you train a better version later, you can swap it into the same slot, no extra charge.

You can also purchase additional slots on top of your plan’s default, which is useful if you’re managing multiple voices for different projects.

Three Types of Voice Packs in Your Account

Ownership Types

⬤ Permanent — Voice Packs you’ve previously purchased (with either Vox Lite Bundle or Vox Max Bundle). These are yours forever and don’t occupy any slots. Nothing changes here.

⬤ Slot-based — Voices saved in your subscription slots. Swappable at any time. Available as long as your subscription is active.

⬤ Preview-only — Trained but not yet saved to a slot. You can listen, evaluate, and decide whether to place them in a slot or discard them.

If You’ve Already Purchased Voice Packs

Your existing packs are safe, they’ll always be there, completely unaffected by subscriptions or slots. You don’t need to do anything, no action is required on your end.

When you subscribe, your slot allowance is on top of your existing permanent packs, not instead of them. So if you have two purchased packs and subscribe to Lite, you’ll have those two permanent packs plus one new swappable slot.

What Happens If You Cancel Your Subscription

Your slot-based Voice Packs are frozen, not deleted. If you resume your subscription, everything comes back exactly as you left it. Your permanent packs are always accessible regardless.

Common Questions

Do I need a subscription to use Voice Cloner at all?

You can still train voices and listen to previews without a subscription. But in order to save a trained voice and use it in Voice Changer, you’ll need at least one slot, which comes with any active subscription.

What else is included with a Lite or Pro subscription?

Beyond Voice Pack Slots, the subscription gives you access to all LALAL.AI tools. Here’s what comes with each plan:

Lite includes unlimited minutes in the Relaxed Queue, 90 Fast Queue minutes per month, 2GB upload limit, result downloads, and batch processing.

Pro includes everything in Lite, plus 250 Fast Queue minutes per month, VST Plugin, local processing with our on-device Lyra model, API access, and early access to new features.

Can I try a voice before committing a slot to it?

Yes, every trained voice starts as a preview. You can listen and evaluate before deciding to save it to a slot.

What if I accidentally overwrite a Voice Pack in a slot?

You can request a restore through our support team within 30 days of the replacement.

Can I buy a slot-based Voice Pack permanently?

Yes, a buyout option is available for voices you want to keep forever, independent of your subscription.

I had packs under the old pricing model. Do the new tiers cost more?

It depends on how you used the product. Previously, Vox Lite cost $20 one-time and included 1 Voice Pack and 20 bonus minutes for Voice Changer. Vox Max cost $45 and included 1 Voice Pack and 500 bonus minutes. 

Now, Lite at $10/mo includes 1 Voice Pack Slot and 90 Fast Queue minutes per month, Pro at $20/mo includes 3 slots and 250 minutes. On top of that, both plans give you access to the full LALAL.AI toolkit, including Vocal Remover, Stem Splitter, Voice Changer, Voice Cleaner, and more. Your previously purchased Voice Packs stay in your account permanently, no subscription required.
